2 shot and wounded in Quezon City road rage

MANILA, Philippines—A village watchman and a student were shot and wounded by an unidentified assailant during a traffic altercation in Quezon City on Wednesday, a Radyo Inquirer 990AM report said.

Authorities identified the victims as Marlon Cabunyag, a watchman of Barangay (village) Silangan in Quezon City, and student Kyle Cuntapay who was grazed by a bullet while waiting for a jeepney ride to school.

Both victims were rushed to a hospital for treatment.

The report said that the suspect fired his gun while arguing with Cabunyag at the corner of Kamias and K-H streets at West Kamias village.
