Liloan town launches medical center

THE Liloan Community Medical and Emergency Center (LCMEC) was established t0 provide more services to the residents of the town.

Gov. Gwen Garcia provided financial support for the construction of the medical center, which is the brainchild of Mayor Vincent “Duke” Frasco.

The center does not collect doctors fees and administrative fees. Patients will only pay for medicines at the LCMEC pharmacy, said Mayor Frasco.

The center has an emergency room that is open 24 hours, an intensive care unit for patients who encountered heart attacks and accidents.

Mayor said the improvement of health services to the people of Liloan town is one of his priorities.
