MANILA, Philippines—Charges have been filed against the alleged gunman in the Teresita Teano murder, who, according to the police, was the same man who shot car dealer Venson Evangelista early this year.

Rolando Talban alias Eduardo Fernandez was charged with car theft and murder for the killing of Teano on June 15 in broad daylight in Quezon City.

According to the complaint, Talban is a member of the Dominguez carjacking group whose alleged leaders, the brothers Raymond and Roger Dominguez, are behind bars in connection with Evangelista’s abduction, death and the theft of his vehicle.

The charges against Talban were filed late Monday afternoon at the Quezon City prosecutor’s office.
