School supplies for Guba scholars

Each of the 166 elementary and high school scholars from the mountain barangays of Guba and Sirao in Cebu City received a set of school uniforms, shoes, socks, school bags, raincoats and educational supplies from the Cebu Eastern College batch 1988 Foundation Inc.

Foundation officers and volunteers, together with the school teachers and barangay officials, distributed the school items last June 2 at the Guba Elementary School.

CEC 88 Foundation president Dewey Choachuy Jr. said the scholarship assistance was in line with the foundation’s education support program, which is now on its fourth year.
