Stream Blue Devils win by 68 points

THE STREAKING Stream Blue Devils padded their winning run to four with a record-setting 106-38 trashing of the hapless Executive Boutique Tarantulas last Saturday in the 2011 Powerade E-League for Basketball at the City Sports Club-Cebu Gym.

Stream’s output shattered the old record for most points scored in a single game previously recorded by the Wipro Wildcats. Interestingly, Executive Boutique was also at the receiving end of Wipro’s record, a 100-36 win last June 19.

Stream also owns the biggest winning margin of the season as the Blue Devils emphatically tallied their fourth win against a lone loss.

Roderick Mangubat spearheaded Stream’s 68-point demolition by exploding for 34 points—the most points scored by a player this season, eclipsing the 33 points made by Accenture’s Randy Bihag in the Sharks’ 62-63 loss to JP Morgan Chase and Co. last week.

In the other game, the unbeaten Convergys Wolves pocketed their fifth straight win with a 57-43 trashing of Accenture.
