Teenager’s torso stuffed into manhole in Quezon City
A group of children playing on the street found a man’s torso stuffed into an open manhole at the corner of Bronx and Fairmont Streets in Barangay (village) North Fairview, Quezon City, on Wednesday night.
A woman later came forward and identified the torso as that of her son, 19-year-old Jesson Amon, through scars found on the left shoulder.
She told the police that her son had been missing for two nights although she did not know who may have killed him.
Case investigator Senior Police Officer 1 Eric Lazo said policemen checked other manholes in the area to find the victim’s other body parts although they did not find anything.
Meanwhile, a still unidentified man was found dead in front of FEU Hospital on Thursday morning.
Case investigator Police Officer 2 Alvin Quisimbing described the victim as between 35 and 40 years old, 5’2” in height and clad in a white shirt and jeans.
