Gunman kills suspected drug pusher inside jeepney

Death came to a suspected drug pusher   inside a passenger jeepney in Binangonan,  Rizal, on Wednesday night.

Police Officer 1 Roderick Calma said that Melard Bautista, 40, was on his way to Sitio Mabato when he was gunned down by a still unidentified man around 8:30 p.m.

According to the policeman, another passenger was getting off the jeepney when a man on a motorcycle approached the vehicle and shot at close range the victim who was in the front passenger seat.

The bullet hit the victim in the ear, killing him instantly as the gunman sped away on his motorcycle.

Although the motive for the killing has yet to be determined, Calma said it was possible that it was related to the victim’s alleged illegal activities.

According to him, they had received reports that the victim was a drug pusher. Kristine Felisse Mangunay
