Intense rainfall warning up over Pampanga, Bataan, Zambales
MANILA, Philippines — Pampanga, Bataan and Zambales are forecast to still experience between 15 and 30 millimeters (mm) of rainfall within the next three hours as an orange rainfall warning remains in effect on Tuesday afternoon, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
The weather bureau warned that “flooding is still threatening” under the said rainfall warning level.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and six Luzon provinces are under the yellow warning level, where 7.5 to 15 mm of rain is expected within the next three hours and flooding is possible in flood-prone areas.
These are the areas under yellow warning level as of 2 p.m.:
-Metro Manila -Tarlac -Bulacan -Rizal -Cavite -Batangas -Laguna

Pagasa also noted that light to moderate rain, with occasional heavy rain, is currently affecting Nueva Ecija and Quezon, which may persist for up to three hours.
The state weather bureau earlier said that it is monitoring three low-pressure areas—two inside the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) and one outside.
One of the LPAs inside PAR has a “high” chance to develop into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours, said the weather bureau. /gsg
