MANILA, Philippines—On Wednesday (June 6, 2012) the Judicial and Bar Council (JBC) starts accepting nominations, recommendations and applications for the next Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, JBC member lawyer Jose Mejia told Radyo Inquirer early Wednesday.
Mejia said notices have been published in newspapers, saying the position of Chief Justice has been made vacant.
He said acceptance of applications and nominations will be until June 18 this year.
On June 15, he added, the JBC will release the list of nominees.
