The NLEX Corp. added that a zipper lane in the Subic-bound direction will be established for motorists bound for Tarlac and Manila to help decongest traffic.

“Please expect a high volume of traffic in the area during this date. Ensure that your Easytrip RFID account has sufficient balance and allow more time for travel,” the operator said in the statement.

Traffic personnel will be deployed, and directional signs will be placed in strategic locations, it added.

Subic Bay will host the Ironman 70.3 event in Olongapo City on Sunday, with triathletes set to still contest over a 1.9-kilometer swim, 90-kilometer bike, and 21-kilometer run.
