3 men who robbed elderly couple in Quezon City linked to man’s death
Three young men who were arrested last week for robbing an elderly couple are now being investigated in connection with the death of a robbery victim last month.
The photos of the three men will be shown to an attendant of a gasoline station on EDSA to determine if they had a hand in the stabbing and killing of 28-year-old call center agent Juan Paolo Arizala.
Arizala, a resident of Barangay (village) Bahay Toro in Project 8, Quezon City, was stabbed and then pushed off a moving bus on May 19 at the corner of EDSA and Bansalangin Street in Quezon City.
He died the following night at East Avenue Medical Center due to his injuries. He lost his cell phone and P15,000 in cash to the robbers.
Case investigator Senior Police Officer 1 Joselito Gagaza said they would present photos of the three—Gaddi Clores, 22; Jade Garrata, 18; and Mark Charlie Ang, 17, all residents of Agham Road in Barangay Bagong Pag-Asa, Quezon City.
Gagaza added that the gasoline boy saw six young men running away from Arizala’s body shortly after he was pushed off the bus.
