Tight security at SC as JBC meets Monday

MANILA, Philippines—The Supreme Court implemented a tight security measure, prohibiting the media from entering its premises as the Judicial and Bar Council (JBC) meets on Monday.

Member of the press stayed along the high court quadrangle but were told that “loitering” around the premises was no longer allowed.

A member of the press may be allowed inside but a color coded sticker will be provided to make sure that no member of the press will go in other areas of the court.

High Court acting Spokesperson Gleo Guerra denied, however that new security policy was being implemented.
