Food outlet robbed of P4-T

ABOUT P4,000 was taken from a 24-hour food outlet in F. Llamas Street, barangay Punta Princesa, Cebu City at past 8 a.m yesterday.

Police said the two suspects posed as customers in Andok’s food outlet owned by Sandy Javier.

They said one of the two men ordered roasted chicken and bottles of beer from 24-year-old food attendant and cashier Sandy Bajinting.

Bajinting was alone tending the outlet when one of the suspects, a tall man of stocky build, asked for change for a P500 bill.

While Bajinting looked for change, the man drew a revolver and declared a holdup.

Bajinting handed P4,000 of the store’s proceeds to the man and was told to lie face down on the ground.

Police said Bajinting told them that the two men rode on a motorcycle and sped towards barangay Quiot, Cebu City.

Bajinting said the other man was short, thin and bore a scar on the upper portion of his left eyebrow.

Andok’s, which sells roasted chicken and other fastfood items, has 300 stores nationwide including 11 in Cebu.

In Liloan town, four men were robbed during their own drinking session in barangay Poblacion, Lilo-an town in northern Cebu last Saturday afternoon.

Liloan police identified the victims as 18-year-old Allen James Mag-asin and 21-year-old Rojaine Charm Calonia, both residents of barangay Yati, Lilo-an, 25-year-old Denyl Sugarol and 20-year-old Lesly Ann Cogal, both of Barangay Nangka, Consolacion town.

They told police that two men armed with a revolver and knife declared a hold-up and ordered them to hand over their valuables.

Mag-asin  was struck with a revolver in the head after he refused to yield his mobile phone.
