Bulusan Volcano erupts anew

MANILA, Philippines — Bulusan Volcano in Sorsogon has once again erupted on Tuesday night, said the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
According to Phivolcs, the phreatic eruption in Bulusan Volcano started at around 7:43 p.m. and is still currently ongoing as of posting.
Phivolcs said rumbling sounds from the volcano were heard at Cogon, Irosin.

Bulusan Volcano last erupted around 4:36 a.m. on Monday, producing a bent plume that rose 4,500 meters above the crater.
As of writing, Bulusan Volcano is still at Alert Level 1.
