14-year-old boy killed in Duljo-Fatima shooting
THE 14-year-old boy who was hit by a stray bullet in Thursday’s shooting of two men in barangay Duljo-Fatima, Cebu City, died yesterday.
Police said they are looking into theories that illegal drugs or gambling were involved in the violence.
The 14-year-old victim was sitting on a bench with his 21-year-old sister tending their sari-sari store when the shooting occurred.
Police said they already have the identities of the two gunmen who shot dead Cornelio Ramos, 44, who was on his way to the store to buy medicine at 7:15 p.m.
The left side of his body was paralyzed due to a previous ailment.
Senior Inspector Jul Mohammad Jamiri, homicide section chief, said Ramos used to be a repairman of video carrera units, and eventualLY acquired some of the illegal machines.
