Araneta looks to recover in Ground and Pound VI

AFTER a loss to MMA slugger Romelo Esfra last year, Mark “The Terminator” Araneta of the UMMA Mandaue City steps back to the ring again to face Universal Reality Combat Championships (URCC) fighter Lordy Rey “The Punisher” Yamit of Butuan Extreme MMA in the main event of the Ground and Pound VI: Invincible this July 14 at the New Cebu Coliseum.

Araneta lost to Esfra in a knockout last year in the Fight Ground Championships in Mandaue City.

Before that, Araneta was coming off a victory as he defeated YawYan Ardigma’s ace fighter Kyle “Hurricane” Co in the main event of the Yawyan Fighting Challenge V via technical knockout.

In the co-main event, Johnjier “The Dangerous” Torbiso of the Durex Dragons takes on Rocky Tune “Outlaw” Batolbatol of team MUMA Cagayan De Oro City.
