OLONGAPO CITY — Police in Central Luzon seized 20,000 pieces of illegal firecrackers, including homemade boga, with an estimated value of P403,385 during an intensified two-week crackdown on illegal firecrackers in the region.

Police Brig. Gen. Redrico Maranan, PRO3 regional director, reiterated the police force’s commitment to ensuring public safety through the sustained campaign against illegal firecrackers.
