DBM opens registration for 2025 gov’t fun run
MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Budget and Management (DBM) on Monday announced that it has already opened the registration for the 2025 Philippine Open Government Partnership (OGP) Fun Run on Jan. 26.

According to the DBM in a statement, the fun run will be held at the Quirino Grandstand in collaboration with the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) and the Philippine Red Cross (PRC)
“The OGP Fun Run serves as a precursor to the 2025 OGP Asia and Pacific Regional Meeting, which will gather high-level representatives from government, the private sector, and civil society,” the DBM said in a statement.
“Scheduled for February 5-7, 2025, this meeting aims to foster open governance across Asia and the Pacific,” it added.
The race is scheduled to begin at 4:30 a.m. with the following race categories and registration fees:

- 5 kilometers – P800
- 10 kilometers – P1,000
The proceeds gathered from the fees will directly support the PRC’s critical lifesaving initiative, and would include a race bib, an official Fun Run shirt, and other essential event materials for participants.
