P2-M shabu, gun seized from 3 drug suspects in Laguna, Cavite
LUCENA CITY – Three suspected big-time drug traffickers were arrested early Sunday, Dec. 8, in buy-bust operations in Laguna and Cavite provinces and they yielded over P2 million worth of shabu (crystal meth) and an illegal firearm, the police said.
The Police Region 4A reported that a team of anti-narcotics agents in Los Baños, Laguna arrested a drug pusher identified as “Pablito” at 3:50 a.m. after he sold P1,000 worth of shabu to an undercover police officer in Barangay (village) Tadlak.
Seized from the suspect were two sealed plastics containing shabu weighing a total of 200.50 grams worth P1,363,400.
The cops also confiscated from the suspect an undocumented .38 caliber gun with five bullets.
The suspect is classified as a high-value individual (HVI) in the illegal drug trade.

Article continues after this advertisementIn Barangay Panapaan 4 in Bacoor City, Cavite, police arrested HVIs “Tol” and “Leonard” in a sting operation around 12:30 a.m.
The operatives caught the suspects with four plastic sachets containing meth weighing 105 grams valued at P714,000.
Authorities also seized a mobile phone which will be subjected to digital forensic examination if it has records of drug transactions.
The police also confiscated a motorcycle believed to have been used by the suspects in their illegal drug trade.
All suspects are under police custody and will face complaints for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Pablito will also face another case for illegal possession of a firearm.
