“The safety and security of our residents and other stakeholders are our top priority,” Binay said.
“The city government is working closely with law enforcement and our private sector partners to make the Makati CBD a safe, vibrant space where people can thrive and enjoy the holiday season,” she added.
Binay also stressed the importance of public-private partnership in ensuring “swift and effective responses to any security concerns,” pointing out the need for coordinated efforts among barangay officials, property managers, and security teams throughout the business district.
“Regular consultations and collaborative meetings will be conducted to address emerging concerns and evaluate the effectiveness of ongoing security strategies,” she added.
Makati CBD will have increased patrol deployments from the Makati Police, Makati Public Safety Department, village watchmen, and personnel of the Makati Central Estate Association.
Residents and visitors are encouraged to use the SOS feature of the Makatizen App or call the Makati Command Center at 168 in times of emergencies.
