OLONGAPO CITY — Local police on Monday arrested a man wanted for allegedly killing a parking attendant nearly a month ago.
In a report, the Olongapo City Police Office said the unnamed murder suspect, tagged as one of the most wanted persons in the region and this city, was captured during a manhunt operation in Barangay New Kababae.
According to the police, the suspect fatally shot the victim five times on Nov. 7 in Barangay Pag-asa.
Investigations disclosed that the attack stemmed from a love triangle involving the victim, the suspect, and the victim’s live-in partner.
Days before the incident, the victim and the suspect reportedly clashed after the suspect was caught with the victim’s partner.
The suspect, who fled the scene on a motorcycle, was apprehended based on a warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 97, Olongapo City, with no bail recommended.
