Bacolod police nab 6, seize P740,000-worth of ‘shabu’

BACOLOD CITY – Police arrested six individuals and seized P740,000 worth of shabu in a drug bust in Purok Malvar Cubay, Barangay Villamonte here on Wednesday, Nov. 27.

The suspects will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, particularly for possession and sale of narcotics.

The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO), in a press statement, said it remains steadfast in its mission to combat illegal drugs and ensure the safety of the community.

“The successful operation underscores the dedication of law enforcement officers in the relentless fight against drug-related crimes in Bacolod City,” it said.
