Fuel prices up by about P1 per liter

MANILA, Philippines — Oil companies on Tuesday jacked up local pump prices by more than P1 per liter a week after slashing their prices.

Per liter, the prices of gasoline went up by P1.15, diesel by P1.10, and kerosene by 80 centavos.

As of this reporting, Flying V, Jetti Petroleum, Petro Gazz, PTT Philippines, Seaoil, Shell Pilipinas, and Unioil were scheduled to apply the price hike at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, followed by Caltex a minute later at 6:01 a.m. and Cleanfuel, the last to adjust its prices at 4:01 p.m.—Jordeene B. Lagare
