MANILA, Philippines — Classes in some areas are ordered suspended on Sunday, November 17, due to the inclement weather brought by Super Typhoon Pepito (international name: Man-yi).

- Manila City (All Sunday classes including NSTP, ROTC, and Graduate schools)
- Taguig City (all classes including NSTP, ROTC, make-up classes, Graduate schools; public and private)
- Caloocan City (all Sunday classes, public and private)

In its 5 p.m. weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that Pepito is set to make a landfall in Catanduanes within the next few hours.

Pagasa hoisted Tropical Cyclone Wind Signals (TCWS) across the country, with TCWS No. 5 being the highest over Catanduanes and the northeastern portion of Camarines Sur. This may bring extreme threat to life and property, with wind speed ranging from 185 kph or higher.
