MANILA, Philippines — Some roads in Metro Manila may experience a traffic slowdown from November 15 to 17 due to the transportation of a tunnel boring machine (TBM) for the Metro Manila Subway Project (MMSP), the Department of Transportation (DOTr) said on Wednesday.
According to the DOTr, the traffic slowdown may be expected from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. on the said dates.

The TBM is scheduled for transport from Manila Harbour Center Port to Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo in Quezon City.
“The TBM will be used in the construction of the tunnels that shall connect MMSP’s Anonas Station and East Avenue Station,” the agency said in a post on Facebook.
The following roads will be affected:
- Port/ R-10 (between 9 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.)
- C3 Road (between 9:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.)
- 5th Avenue (between 10:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.)
- G. Araneta Avenue (between 12:00 a.m. to 1:30 a.m.)
- E. Rodriguez Sr. Avenue (between 1:30 a.m. to 2:00 a.m.)
- Gilmore Avenue (between 2:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m.)
- Col. Bonny Serrano Avenue (between 3:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m.)
