MANILA, Philippines — Police arrested two drug suspects and seized an estimated P126,684 worth of illegal drugs in separate operations early Tuesday morning.
At 2:20 a.m., the Taguig City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit arrested an alias “Jhon”, 27, in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Calzada.
Ten heat-sealed plastic sachets containing around 14.5 grams of shabu (crystal meth) worth around P98,600 were seized from the suspect.
Also on Tuesday morning, the Pasay City Police Station Intelligence Section apprehended an alias “Bubuy”, 26, in Zone 16.
The suspect yielded 11 small heat-sealed plastic sachets containing 4.13 grams of shabu worth around P28,084.
The seized drugs were turned over to the SPD Forensic Unit for analysis, while formal complaints are being readied against the suspects in custody for violating the Dangerous Drugs Act.
