Defense won’t request for extension, says lawyer Salvador

MANILA, Philippines— The defense team of Chief Justice Renato Corona won’t request for an extension, assuring his return to the Senate on Friday, lawyer Tranquil Salvador III said in an interview early Thursday on Radyo Inquirer.

“That’s what the Senate has set so we will follow that,” said Salvador.

Then again, he added, they can’t do anything if the doctors won’t allow Corona to appear.
