LEGAZPI CITY – One of the two individuals reported missing after a landslide hit Guinobatan town in Albay has been found dead, authorities confirmed Wednesday morning (Oct. 23).

According to Maguiron Village Councilor Carl Pardiñas, the body of the mother was recovered around 9 a.m., while her daughter remains missing.

The landslide, which buried two houses under mud, occurred past midnight on Tuesday amid continuous heavy rains from Tropical Storm Kristine.
