Pasig River Ferry ops still suspended due to bad weather — MMDA
MANILA, Philippines — The operations of all Pasig Ferry stations remain suspended on Wednesday (October 23) due to bad weather, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) stated.
According to the MMDA, ferry operations were first suspended on Tuesday when Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1 was raised in Metro Manila.
“Nananatiling suspendido ang operasyon ng Pasig River Ferry Service ngayong araw, October 23, dahil sa pagtataas ng Signal #1 sa Metro Manila bunsod ng bagyong #KristinePH,” the announcement reads.

In an advisory from the Presidential Communications Office, classes and work across Luzon were likewise suspended due to heavy rains brought by the effects of tropical storm Kristine (international name: Trami).
Based on the state weather bureau’s latest report, Metro Manila and surrounding provinces are under a yellow rainfall warning, with potential flooding expected in low-lying areas and near river channels.
