Shabu worth P850,000 seized from 4 suspects in Rizal busts
LUCENA CITY — Police seized P850,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) from four suspected drug traffickers arrested on Tuesday and Wednesday (Oct. 15 and 16) in separate buy-bust operations in Rizal province.
The Region 4A police reported that members of the provincial police drug enforcement unit and local cops held “Dave” and “Dion” at 9:58 p.m. after they sold P19,000 worth of shabu to an undercover cop in Barangay Sampaloc in Tanay town.
The suspects, both tagged as high-value individuals in the local drug trade, were found in alleged possession of five plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 100 grams worth P680,000 as per Dangerous Drugs Board valuation.

The operatives also seized a mobile phone from the suspects that will be examined for drug transactions.

Article continues after this advertisementIn Taytay town, anti-illegal drug operatives busted “Arnold” and “Bunso” at 2:30 a.m. Wednesday in Barangay San Juan.
The suspects yielded six sachets containing 25 grams of shabu worth P170,000.
The Rizal police are investigating the source of the drugs.
Meanwhile, the suspects are under police custody and will face charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
