MANILA, Philippines – Pampanga police are “verifying” the identities of two persons of interest in the shooting of two married online sellers in Mexico City, Philippine National Police spokesperson BGen. Jean Fajardo said on Tuesday.

“They already have the names…They are confident that the suspect is the one they are after,” she added.

Fajardo said the victims, Mabalacat City residents Alvin and Lerma Lulu, were followed from their house in Angeles City until they exited a mall in Mexico City, where they were shot in their car on Friday afternoon.

The suspects approached the Lulus on a motorcycle. The driver fired one shot at the male victim, while the passenger fired four at the female. The couple’s child, 6, and nephew, 14, were unharmed.

Police are still investigating whether the couple’s online beauty products business, which they had been running since 2015, was related to the shooting.

Mabalacat Mayor Crisostomo Garbo has since offered a P100,000 reward for any information to help identify and arrest the suspects.
