MANILA, Philippines — Fair weather is seen nationwide on Wednesday as no weather system appears to affect the country, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
However, Pagasa weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio said there are still chances of nationwide isolated rain showers and thunderstorms.
“Ngayong araw, maganda at maaliwalas ang panahon na ating mararanasan, kung saan bahagyang maulap hanggang sa maulap ang kalangitan, hindi lamang dito sa Luzon, gayundin sa Visayas at Mindanao,” Aurelio said in a public weather forecast.
(Today, the weather we’ll experience is good and pleasant, with partly cloudy to cloudy skies, not only in Luzon but also in Visayas and Mindanao.)
“Bukod sa maganda at maaliwalas na panahon, may tyansa pa din ng mga isolated na mga pag-ulan o mga biglang pagbuhos ng ulan,” he added.
(Aside from the good and fair weather, there are still chances of isolated rains or sudden rain showers.)
Aurelio said the northeasterly surface wind flow, or the initial blast of the northeast monsoon, or “amihan,” is only affecting Extreme Northern Luzon.

Aurelio said the low-pressure area inside the Philippine area of responsibility in the West Philippine Sea had already dissipated.
Pagasa did not raise a gale warning in any seaboards nationwide.
