LUCENA CITY — Fire of still unknown origin broke out and burned down 10 buildings in Taytay, Rizal on Saturday night (October 5).
The Police Region 4A on Sunday said the blaze started around 8:47 p.m. in Rizal Avenue corner Naval street in Barangay (village) Dolores.
Firemen were able to put out the fire at around 11:23 p.m. but it left 10 commercial and residential buildings destroyed, the report said.
No one was injured during the incident.
Local social workers are providing assistance to unspecified number of victims while the property damage and the cause of the fire are yet to be determined by the authorities.
