PNP forms task force to probe slay of Bulacan village chiefs group head
MANILA, Philippines – Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) had formed a task group to investigate the October 3 killing of Bulacan barangay captains’ association (ABC) president Ramilito Capistrano.
Philippine National Police Spokesperson PCol. Jean Fajardo on Friday confirmed the probe and said they are “not discounting” the possibility that the murder was related to Capistrano’s work as an elected official but that it was “too early” to tell.
Capistrano was on his third term as captain of Barangay Caingin in San Rafael, Bulacan and on his second term as Bulacan ABC president.
