Cops seize illegal drugs worth over P90M in Sorsogon in September
SORSOGON CITY — Illegal drugs worth more than P90 million were seized in Sorsogon province during their month-long anti-narcotics operations in September, the Sorsogon police reported.
Colonel Roque Bausa, officer-in-charge of the Sorsogon police, said in a report on Tuesday, Oct. 1, that they had arrested 13 drug offenders in eight operations in September. This led to the confiscation of 18,515.5873 grams of shabu (crystal meth) and 855.966 grams of marijuana, all valued at P92,708.710.
The Sorsogon police reported the arrests of 54 most wanted persons and 13 other wanted persons after conducting 67 operations in September.

Additionally, 36 persons were arrested for illegal fishing, while three were apprehended for illegal logging.
Article continues after this advertisementThe police arrested 30 persons involved in illegal gambling from ten operations. Three illegal gun holders were also detained, with four guns confiscated from three operations, totaling nine apprehensions for loose firearms violations.
In August, the Sorsogon police seized illegal drugs worth P355,914 from its month-long operations.
