Picpa to hold conference for accounting teachers

The Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (Picpa) and National Association of CPAs in Education Inc. (nACPAE), in cooperation with the ACPAE Cebu chapter are inviting accounting teachers and administrators to the 20th Accounting Teachers’ Conference to be held from May 23 to 25 at the Costabella Tropical Beach Hotel in Mactan Island, Cebu.

The event is a venue for accounting teachers from all over the country to exchange ideas, share point of views, meet new friends and discuss current issues and latest developments affecting the accountancy profession and the accounting education.

With the theme, “Teaching excellence and sustainable research: Key to quality accounting education,” the conference will present innovative practices that encourage research in academic institutions as well as show methods and tools useful in accountancy profession.

The activities that will be conducted are the accountancy research mapping, research colloquium, research presentations, Commission on Higher Education-Picpa faculty development program, whole brain literacy, and team building and fellowship.
