Tropical Storm Bebinca enters PAR; local name Ferdie
MANILA, Philippines — Tropical Storm Bebinca entered the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) on Friday night and has been named Ferdie, said the state weather bureau.
“At 6:00 PM today, Tropical Storm BEBINCA entered the PAR and was assigned the domestic name #FerdiePH,” the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said in a weather advisory.

Based on its 4:00 p.m. weather bulletin, Ferdie had maximum sustained winds of 85 kilometers per hour (kph) and gustiness of up to 105 kph.
Its trough is currently forecast to affect parts of Luzon until Saturday morning.
