Quiboloy pleads not guilty to child abuse charge

Detained Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KJC) founder  Apollo Quiboloy pleaded not guilty to a child abuse charge before the Quezon City Regional Trial Court (RTC) on Friday.

Earlier in the day, Quiboloy also entered a not guilty plea for his qualified human trafficking cases filed at the Pasig RTC.

Quiboloy wants hospital arrest in Davao City

The camp of Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KJC) founder Apollo Quiboloy filed a motion for hospital arrest in Davao City, the Philippine National Police (PNP) said on Friday.

The PNP spokesperson, Col. Jean Fajardo, said Quiboloy’s lawyer filed the motion to be transferred to a hospital in Davao City before the Pasig Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 159.

US extradition request for Quiboloy coming – DOJ

An extradition request from the United States for Apollo Quiboloy may be coming soon, the Department of Justice (DOJ) said on Friday.

“So far, we have not received any extradition request. But Secretary [Jesus Crispin] Remulla knows that the official request from the United States is coming,” DOJ Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking Undersecretary Nicholas Felix Ty said in Filipino in a Bagong Pilipinas Ngayon briefing.

Alice Guo’s graft case now under Valenzuela court

The graft case of dismissed Bamban, Tarlac mayor Alice Guo has been transferred from the Capas, Tarlac Regional Trial Court (RTC) to the Valenzuela City RTC,  according to the Capas court’s order.

Based on the order issued by Capas, Tarlac RTC Branch 109, Guo’s case was transferred as the town has no jurisdiction over the ex-mayor’s case.
