LUCENA CITY — Three suspected drug traffickers were arrested on Monday and Tuesday (September 2 and 3) in buy-bust operations in Batangas and Rizal provinces.
The operations yielded more than P351,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth), the Police Regional Office 4A (PRO-4A) reported.
Anti-narcotics operatives in Batangas City arrested “Daryl” at 11:26 p.m. on Monday in Barangay Balagtas.
The suspect, an identified street-level pusher in the city, yielded one plastic sachet containing shabu weighing 30 grams worth P204,000.
In Binangonan, Rizal, the police drug enforcement unit arrested “Kalbo” in a sting operation at 2 a.m. Tuesday in Barangay Palangoy.
The suspect, tagged as a street drug pusher, was found in possession of five plastic sachets containing 21.64 grams of meth worth P147,152.
Police confiscated two mobile phones in both operations, which they will examine for records of drug transactions.
Batangas and Rizal police are investigating further to determine the source of the illegal drugs.
The suspects are under police custody and are facing complaints of violating anti-drugs laws.
