MMDA suspends number coding scheme on Tuesday, Sept. 3
MANILA, Philippines — The implementation of the expanded number coding scheme is suspended on Tuesday, September 3, according to the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA.)
This came after the Palace suspended classes in all levels and work in government offices in the National Capital Region and Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon) are suspended on Tuesday, September 3 due to Tropical Storm Enteng.

“Suspendidong muli ang pagpapatupad ng Expanded Unified Vehicular Volume Reduction Program (UVVRP) bukas, SEPTEMBER 3 (Martes), kasunod ng anunsiyo ng Malacañang na mananatiling walang pasok sa mga pampublikong paaralan at tanggapan ng pamahalaan sa National Capital Region (NCR), maging sa Region IV, dahil sa patuloy na nararanasang pag-ulan dulot ng Bagyong #EntengPH at hanging habagat (The implementation of Expanded Unified Vehicular Volume Reduction Program or UVVRP is suspended tomorrow, SEPTEMBER 3, Tuesday, following the announcement of Malacañang that classes and work in government offices in National Capital Region, or NCR, and Region IV are suspended due to the rain brought by Tropical Storm Enteng and southwest monsoon.),” MMDA said in a Facebook post.

Article continues after this advertisementIn its 8 p.m. weather advisory on Monday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that Tropical Storm Enteng (international name Yagi) moved over Isabela province on Monday evening, increasing its speed at 25 kilometers per hour (kph), moving north-northwestward.
