PDEA-Central Luzon’s ‘regional target’ nabbed in Pampanga

MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga — A suspected drug peddler described by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Central Luzon as a “regional target” and his cohort were arrested in a buy-bust operation in San Joaquin village here on Sunday night, Sept. 1.

In a statement, the PDEA Central Luzon identified the arrested person as Vhince Mendoza, 27, and his female cohort “Mary Rose”, 29.

The sting operation was consucted along Sitio Daan Bakal by operatives who allegedly seized 10 hrams of shabu (crystal meth) worth P68,000 and two hrams of dried marijuana leaves from Mendoza.

Assorted drug paraphernalia were also confoscated while the marked peso bills used by the undercover agent in the buy-bust operation was recovered.

PDEA operatives conducted the sting operation with the city police here.

“A non-bailable offence of section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) in relation to section 26B, section 11 (possession of dangerous drugs), and section 12 (possession of drug paraphernalia) of Republic Act 9165 will be filed against the arrested suspects,” the PDEA regional office said. INQ
