Lakas-CMD membership in House now 105
MANILA, Philippines — Lakas-CMD’s strength in the House of Representatives has increased anew as two more lawmakers have joined the political party, boosting its membership to 105.
In a statement on Thursday, Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez confirmed that Cagayan 1st District Rep. Ramon Nolasco Jr. and San Juan City Rep. Maria Ysabel Zamora took their oath as members of Lakas-CMD on Tuesday.
Romualdez, who heads the party, also said 32 incumbent and former officials joined Lakas-CMD.

Other possible candidates for the 2025 local elections are Christian Alpuerto, Jude Concepcion, Edmund Rosete, Abdulah Silongan, Samsur Montera, Haron Mantawil, and Josie Jadulco (Matalam, North Cotabato) as well as Aliasis Arlene Baleroso (running for mayor), Aliasis Jesus Faustino (running for vice mayor), Sanny Kadil (running for councilor), Marife Paredes (running for councilor), and Neneng Macasarte and Rose Cabata (Banisilian, North Cotabato).
Albert Santos (running for councilor in M’lang, North Cotabato) and Romeo Dongeto of Jala-Jala, Rizal also joined the Lakas-CMD.
