Civil Service Commission bares photo contest

THE Civil Service Commission (CSC) recently launched its national photography contest dubbed 2012 Philippine Civil Service Anniversary “Give it your best shot.”

The contest is open to all government employees, except CSC employees and other government employees affiliated with the National Press Club and Press Photographers of the Philippines.

The photos should capture the essence of public service in the Filipino’s everyday life  and should focus on the theme “Kawani ikaw ay isang lingkod bayani.”

Photographs that  are digitally enhanced or altered with special effects (colorizing, toning,  collaged, photo composites, HDR, etc.) will not be accepted.

FEATURED STORIES

Prizes are P20,000 for the first place, P10,000 for the second place, P5,000 for the third place and P1,000 and a certificate each for the ten chosen photos.

Those who want to know more about the contest may visit website www.csc.gov.ph or call the CSC region 7 Public Assistance and Liaison Division at 414-7488, 414-7676 and 253-9050. The deadline of submission of entries  is July 16.
