LEGAZPI CITY — A motorcycle rider was killed in a road accident in Naga City in Camarines Sur on Saturday night, Aug. 24.
Naga City police said in a report Sunday, Aug. 25, that the rider, identified as Alvin, accidentally crashed into a sports utility vehicle (SUV) along Maharlika Highway in Barangay (village) Concepcion Pequeña at around 10:15 p.m.
Initial investigation said the SUV driver, identified as Lissa, was executing a left turn in the area when the speeding motorcycle collided with the right-side passenger door panel.
The motorcycle rider was taken to a hospital but was declared dead.
An investigation is ongoing.
