Drug pusher busted anew in Lucena City
LUCENA CITY – An alleged pusher with a previous drug case was arrested by anti-narcotics operatives in this city in a buy-bust operation on Saturday, Aug. 24, police said.
Lieutenant Colonel Dennis de Guzman, Lucena City police chief, said in a report Sunday that “William,” 43, was collared by the police drug enforcement unit after he sold P500 worth of shabu (crystal meth) to a poseur buyer in Barangay (village) Silangang Mayao around 5:45 p.m.
The suspect, a resident of neighboring Sariaya town, yielded six plastic sachets of meth with a street value of P68,340.
The police also confiscated a motorcycle believed to have been used by the suspects in their illegal drug trade.
The report tagged the suspect as a street-level individual on the drug watchlist.
