MANILA, Philippines — A total of 3,872 out of 5,574 examinees passed the August 2024 licensure examination for Medical Technologists, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Tuesday.
The examination was conducted from August 6 to 7 across testing centers in the National Capital Region, Baguio, Cebu, and Davao.
Riana Beatriz Siron from the University of Santo Tomas ranked first in the examination with a rating of 92.30 percent.
This was followed by Jeremie Anderson Lua from Mountain View College who placed second with a rating of 91.50 and Noreen Anne Corpuz from the University of Santo Tomas in the third spot with a rating of 91.30 percent.

Meanwhile, Saint Louis University emerged as the top-performing school with a passing rate of 95.40%.

According to the PRC, the schedule of online registration to obtain the new Medical Technologists’ Professional I.D. and Certificate of Registration starts on September 19, 2024.
