MANILA, Philippines — The Office of the Vice President’s (OVP) proposed budget for 2025 is P2.037 billion, the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) said on Thursday.
According to DBM chief Amenah Pangandaman, the OVP’s proposed budget is eight percent higher than its P1.874-billion budget for 2024.
“P188.5 million is allocated for personal services, P1.79 billion for maintenance and other operating expenses, and P56 million for capital outlay,” she added.
The OVP does not have confidential and intelligence fund allocation for next year.

The OVP had previously given up P500 million in confidential and intelligence funds for the OVP in the 2024 national budget.
