GUINOBATAN, ALBAY – Damage to the agriculture sector caused by Typhoon Carina and the southwest monsoon in the Bicol region was pegged as P19.3 million as of Saturday.
According to the Office of Civil Defense (OCD) Bicol, the damage covers production loss in the provinces of Albay, Camarines Sur, and Camarines Norte.
Meanwhile, 21 houses were destroyed while 80 others were damaged in the region.
