Marcos Highway traffic jam due to muddy road, accident – MMDA
MANILA, Philippines — Marcos Highway is experiencing a traffic jam on Friday afternoon because of a muddy road and an accident involving a truck and a motorcycle, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said.
A report from the MMDA Metrobase indicated that only one lane of the Marcos Highway-SM Marikina underloop was passable around Friday noon, as some motorists avoided the muddy road sections of the thoroughfare.
“Marcos Highway-SM Marikina underloop, one lane passable dahil po sa maputik na kalsada (due to muddy road),” the agency said in a Viber message sent to reporters.
