Perez cousins triumph in Recyclable Regatta Race
COUSINS Earl and Gary Perez won the all-men’s category of the Columbia Recyclable Regatta Race at the Shangri-La Mactan Resort and Spa in Lapu-Lapu City.
The Perez cousins showed their creative side by building a durable and convenient regatta that was made of 90 percent recyclable materials.
They managed to finish second in the elimination round before going full blast in the final round.
The Perez tandem won P15,000 cash and P8,000 worth of gift certificates from Columbia.
Brothers Agastain and Bernars Pilapil captured the second spot and walked away with P10,000 cash and P4,000 worth of GCs.
Buzzy Budlong and Bernard Peña, who were leading in the elimination round, claimed the third spot for P5,000 cash and P4,000 worth of GCs.

Article continues after this advertisementFive recyclable regattas were built yesterday. The best designed boat will be displayed at the R.O.X at the Active Zone of Ayala Center Cebu.
